The mural was designed and painted by myself and one other artist for Florida State University’s newly constructed Student Union. The images featured in the mural, were chosen with the intention to encourage greater representation on campus for students who are minorities and of diverse nationalities and ethnicities. The faces of children are included as a symbolic reminder of both the hope we have for the future and the moral responsibility we have to our future generations. Vibrant colors and movement make up the design as a way to celebrate diversity, inspire progress and to fill the space with an uplifting and positive message.
